Forgive And Forget.

Imagine yourself, few years from now, busy with your daily routine. Suddenly, you get a call. The girl who constantly tried to suppress you, the girl you’ve hated forever, just died. How will you feel? Happy? That her story is finally rested. Or guilty? That you never made the first move to clear all the differences and remain friends for the rest of your life.

“Life is too short to wake up in the morning with regrets. So love the people who treat you right, forgive the ones who don’t and believe everything happens for a reason.”

Life is too short for any kind of negativity, even if it is jealousy, or hatred or both. Life teaches you a lot of lessons as you grow older. Anything that happens in your life happens for a reason and it is very important to remember that. People often forget the importance of love and respect. They would rather hate a person than kill their ego and talk to other person and clear the air.

Maybe, a girl in your high school beat you in all exams and was a winner at everything. So what? Maybe there are something more exciting awaiting you in the future, give life a chance. Maybe, a guy broke your heart by rejecting you. But that’s because a guy is out there waiting for YOU to break his heart (or marry him, that depends!) But that doesn’t mean you become jealous of the people who are in higher positions than what you are in. Maybe, they deserved it.

I have had my own experiences. My friend always got better marks and was always in better positions, and I was super-jealous. But I soon cleared the differences because I realized life is too short for jealousy. Now she is my best friend and I can’t live without her.

So it’s important to forgive and forget because life is too short to hate and be jealous of people and stop living your life. Because when years later, you get a phone call informing about his/her death, you will feel so guilty that maybe you will start hating yourself.
